Cresent - Making Work Safe

Cresent continues to strengthen relationship with Iraq

Cresent has an extensive history of working in Iraq, with large contracts providing Training and Control of Work solutions on Rumaila and West Qurna 2 oilfields, and continues to support businesses working in Iraq.

As such we are members of the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC), who work to bring businesses, trade and investment to Iraq and create strong relationships between these two countries. Jim Land, Cresent CEO, and Julie Land, Director, attended the IBBC Christmas Party in December 2017.

The Christmas party is the bringing together of IBBC and AMAR Foundation members held at the Westminster offices in London. This year, more than 70 guests were in attendance.

Attendance at events like this only strengthen Cresent’s relationship with Iraq and as such, Jim will also be attending Education, Training and Heritage Sector and Oil and Gas Sector table meetings, at the House of Lords, at the end of January.

Jim and Julie are seen pictured above with Rasmi Al-Jabri (Deputy Chairman and founding Board Member / IBBC) at the Christmas event.
