Control of Chemical Substances (COSHH)
Substantially reduce the risk of staff injury caused by hazardous substances
The Control of Chemical Substances course is suitable for all staff
working on a regular basis with hazardous substances. The content
for this course has been developed by a qualified Chemist and fully
satisfies the Material User Level training requirements of the UK
COSHH Regulations.
The course features a range of interactive multimedia exercises, and
can be delivered via internet, intranet, or CD-ROM. On completion
of this course, your staff will be able to identify and understand the
labelling of chemical substances, be aware of how different chemical
substances can cause harm in different ways. This course provides
an understanding of how to reduce the risk of injury through safer
handling and chemical storage by applying COSHH assessments.
A higher level course is also available on how to perform COSHH assessments.
